Updates from the Cast & Crew

I am so grateful to all of you for your courage, dedication, and spirit. These are just a few of the emails I have received. JS

From Madeline G.
OK, so alot of people have been telling me that they are still wanting to open the show when we return to school. I agree. I know that even if only one person shows up, that it wiil still be worth it. We owe it to ourselves, and to the community to do this show about people who came together in extraordinary circumstances. And even though we have nothing in common with those people, we still need to do this preformance to prove that we can deal with the hardships of life. Because if we run away now what will we have to show for all of our hard work? just some lives in ruin? nothing more... We have to do the show for these people whos lives we care so much about. We owe it to their memory. This show exemplifies what HARDSHIP means. And what people do when they pull together in order to get by. I want all of us come together as a family, as students, and as a troope and show the mountain, the Jewish Community, and everyone that has lost something in these last couple weeks how family and friends can get you through the toughest of disasters.Hope your doing well, happy to hear the family is ok. Stay safe. Love you. P.S..Remember " No matter how hard the times, or how long the separation...Our liberation is near.."

Its good to know that you and your family are safe and hopefully you're home will still be intact by the end of all this. Its sad how many houses have been lost, but i think its more important that everyone is safe. As far as the drama geeks go... Synnova is in highland, Lauren is still on the mountain, Richard is in San Clemente, Tommy just called me and he's ok and his house it ok,and Trevor is at his dad's house. I havent really been able to talk to anyone else... :\ I was bummed when i realized that tonight was supose to be opening night . . . but i know that we will do what ever it takes to make this show happen. I think i have even more of an appreciation for "The Diary of Anne Frank," then i did before, I guess even a negative experience like this can create quite a few positive ones. :) I'm really looking forward to returning home and starting back up on rehearsals and hopefully that will be soon!!

Due to the conditions, I have been ordered to be evacuated by mandatory order.I am going to the family house in Ensenada. I have little information about the cast status (and crew's as well) many of my friends I know are down the hill, Jakeh, Trevor, Ian, Windy, Synnova, I have yet to hear about Tommy.Hopefully all this ends soon....I have friends who have lost their homes. This is just ugh...I'm speechless! I'm keeping in focus with the play nontheless, reading the DOAF script over again and also revising everything. Hopefully we can get to show back soon.

Hey Mr. Smith,

Just letting you know that we are home now. Hope you’re ok. Hopefully we can find out when we can do the play soon! It was really depressing on Thursday, realizing that it should have been opening night. Anyway, if there’s anything I can do let me know!
