Hey, you Munchkins (and others),
Get your See's Candy fundraiser kits from Kelsey ASAP! Because of Snow Days, we only have a week and a half to get this sale done. We need your orders and money back by Friday, February 8, so start selling!
You know, if the writers' strike goes on, I may be able to sell the networks on a new reality show: "The World's Fastest Fundraiser". It could totally work...

Snow Glad it's Only January!
My Fellow Ozians,
Here's what I want you to do:
1. Don't Panic!
2. Help shovel snow.
3. Do a few of your dance steps, you know, while making a sandwich, or talking on your cel phone, or, like I said earlier, while shoveling snow.
4. Practice singing your songs. I know you haven't had any vocal rehearsals yet, but, come on, you know these songs.
5. Read a dozen or so lines from your script. Any dozen or so, doesn't matter where they are.
6. Send off those sponsor letters. You have nothing else to do, except, of course, shovel snow.
7. Study for finals. ( I will have to check eligibility as soon as grades come out!)
8. Have your minds, bodies, and spirits ready to get to work as soon as everyone finishes shoveling all this snow so we can get back to work!
9. Look for props, designs sets, consider lighting, buy a personal makeup kit (on line, I suppose)-- get tech-savvy!
10. Understand that we will all have to work that much harder and that much smarter when we get back.
See you soon!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow...Grrr...
My Fellow Ozians,
First of all, there is no need to panic just yet; I would much rather lose rehearsals now that at the end of February, if you know what I mean. It is important that you not get too far away from your show (keep your choreography fresh, flip through your scripts now and then, etc.). We will be fine once we get back.
Second, this is more time for you to marinate on the Dramatic Action of the show. Anyone worked it out yet? What is the one verb that covers that actions of the characters (what are all of these people doing)? Post your thoughts on this here, and we will see if we can solve this little puzzle together.
Stay warm and dry!
